This is a letter of recommendation for Candi McNany. Candi has been working at Sylvan Learning Center for the past 15 years. She has served as an instructor, test administrator, and school liaison. She currently serves as an instructor in Academic Reading and Beginning Reading.

Candi constantly demonstrates punctuality, a positive attitude, and flexibility. She is always very aware of the skills and progress of each of her students. She is very good about diagnosing specific skill deficiencies in her reading students.

Beyond her teaching ability, Candi has great rapport with students and parents. Her positive, cheerful demeanor is infectious. Several students have named Candi as their "preferred instructor"

As Director of Education, I recommend Candi McNany for the position for which she has applied.

Candice has demonstrated a willingness to learn, concern for her students, and helpfulness towards other instructors.

The students Candice works with are always her first priority. As a test administrator, Candice participated in the initial screening and diagnosis of our potential students. She easily established a caring rapport with parents and students and create a comfortable environment for students to work.

Now as an instructor, Candice adapts well to all ability levels of students and uses a variety of approaches to aid in the student's understanding of the lessons.

Candice easily works with our Young Beginning Reading students. She maintains appropriate language and skill descriptions for each student and their ability level. Candice is able to keep our more challenging students actively engaged in the learning process. Her enthusiasm is reflected in students' response to her instruction.

Candice's professionalism, flexibility and caring relationships with students and other staff members would make her a wonderful asset to any school district.
